Conclusion

Based on the data previously shown you couldn’t say that one Subreddit is used more than the other as Destiny 2 is used for smaller posts and gets more foot traffic day to day but Destiny The Game is used for bigger news or for late game stuff that not as many people may use Because of this I have made another graph that compares the amount of a type of post each Subreddit has. The post type will be the same color but if you hover over the circle it will state which subreddit it came from.

Comparison of Posts

As you can see based on this Destiny 2 tends to mostly be about memes hence why it probably tends to have more upvotes in the short term but not in the long term since some of the memes are based on what is currently happening and probably won’t be as funny in the future. Meanwhile, Destiny the Game tends to be discussions and Suggestions for the game that can get foot traffic for many months and still receive constant upvotes. In the end, both Subreddits have their important use case and should be kept separate.
